  Am I an early Adopter?

  After a conversation with a friend/colleague, I’m not really sure if being an early adopter is a beneficial trait or a big waste of time. Do I really need to explore the newest adventures of the interwebs and applications.  Is this Iphone app worth installing? Those 5minutes here and 20minutes are really starting to add up in my daily activity. On the contrary thought, maybe all of this curisiosity helps spark my creative though process. Who knows. 

  On that note here are some cool sites I have been really enjoying lately….

  Cacoo.com , great for your UML diagrams, Flow Charts, and general/simple product design. I love creating fast ideas through this. It even comes handy for cad designs in my Labs ( University Engineering Labs ).

  MixCloud.com , This has been around for a while. Above and beyond frequently pots new music here too!

  Trello.com , All your organizing needs. Evernote really needs to buy this company out.

  Reptition is making me uneasy

  So I got sick and tired of having to re input the password to log into my Embedded Microprocessors Class website. So here is a quick script I wrote for Greasemonkey. It works in Chrome and Firefox as of now.

• Taking Notes

  I’m consitently finding myself searching for more productive ways to take notes and record covered material from class/meetings.

  The Search is still on for finding a good program to record notes ( Not Tomboy, Not OneNote). 

  Here is a good link for some effective tips to taking notes in class along with some note taking styles, e.g. Cornell System.
